Another one of my light painting attempts ...

This time, what I did was :

1. Manual focus on bottle.
2. Set shutter speed to 15 sec (that's the longest my camera could open). I used the biggest aperture allowed by the camera for the focal length I used.
2. Set timer.
3. Turn off lights in room.
4. Press shutter.
5. When shutter opens, I randomly flashed at the bottle from the top to bottom with a small LED torchlight affixed with a snoot. I made the snoot from black paper and covered it with a blue plastic paper at the front (you know, the ones you use to make tanglungs during school activities). Just enough to illuminate the bottle.
6. Then, circle the bottle from bottom-to-top (or bottom-to-top) for that spiralling lights.
7. Turn off torchlight. Quickly replace snoot's blue plastic paper with a red one. Repeat Step 6.

... yep, all this in 15 seconds!!!
